First Day of School

WELCOME TO MS. MARTELLI'S FIRST GRADE CLASS!

This is the time to start things fresh and new! My classroom is a learning environment where each student is treated as their own individual and where they can learn about themselves in different activities. Each child learns in their own way and it is important for children and parents to understand that. I have three important rules in my classroom that the students mjust follow:
1) To respect and treat others the way they want to be treated
2) To complete work in a quiet manner
3) To always use the time given wisely

In order for our classroom to stay strong, students are expected to follow the rules and procedures. If they choose not to, the class will suffer the consequences that allow each student to understand what they are doing wrong and ways to make the right choices.
To enforce these rules, I need your help. You play a very important role as parents in your child's success and have a  conversation with your child about his or her positive behaviors amd the ones that he/she should use in the classroom. I am very excited to work with your child this year and I hope we both can learn alot together. Please feel free to contact me with and questions or concerns that you may have.

                                                                    Thank you,
                                                                   Miss Jessica Martelli
